What is a playtest?
Playtests are rules that are
currently being tested to see if they should be added to the core set of NERO
rules.

Our philosophy
We want to:
- adhere to the rules of the
game as published in the most recently published version of the NERO
rulebook
- adopt the national playtests that are required
- very carefully select optional
national playtests to use and only adopt new
national playtests at certain points during the
year
We do not want to:
- stop enforcing rules in the
rulebook or nationally required playtests
- create or use local variants
or modifications to playtests
