Rules

 

NERO OGRE ( Central Ohio) uses the current 8th edition of the NERO International Rule book. There is some additional information to learn about how the game works. They are listed below.

 

 

Errata: Rules changes since the last rulebook printing

 

Goblins: These are rewards for Out of Game work/contributions to the chapter.

 

Latex Weapons: The use of latex weapons at OGRE is on a case by case basis.  This means that anyone who wishes to use a latex weapon at OGRE needs to go to the NPC shack in order to test fight with an NPC and a marshall with the latex weapons they would like to use at game.  Then, that person will be granted permission to use those latex weapons at OGRE.  This can and will be removed if fighting with the latex weapons becomes unsafe over the course of the game. People will be re-tested for new or repaired latex weapons. 

 

Level Cap: There is a level 14 (154 build) cap at Oasis within the 2 mile radius dome.  Also, build spent on Craftsman: Other skills does not count against the cap.  Please email the records account with any questions.  There is an in game reason for the cap at Oasis that you will quickly learn of when you visit the town.

Transforms: OGRE uses NERO Cincinnati's Transforms packet for any transforms created in this chapter.  We will be honoringt he packets from other chapters.  If your transform was not created in one of the chapters using this packet, please send your transforma abilities in advance, as well as packet information so we can determine how it will function in this chapter.
