Starlen’s Crossing Heroes and Nobles-Those who have risen from the ranks of the travelers.

Lady Seneschal Galen Fenwick: The former head of the adventuring order of the Skunk Clan, Galen has shown spirit in defending her companions in the Crossing.  Long familiar with the ways of merchant trains and houses, she quickly adapted to the ways of this town.  While she, like most of her group, enjoys travel, she has made a home in Starlen’s Crossing. She was named the Seneschal in August of 607.

Dame Serranna: Having served in the Stonegate Army, a now-dead knight's house, and worked with the then nascent Kingdom Guild in Ashton, this biata matron traveled to Izendorn searching for a place to retire. She found the merchant town of Starlen’s Crossing in 603, and, having been a friend of the Stonegate Lord Merchant Garrett Starlen, took this a good omen to set up her jewelry shop. When she brought to the attention of then Magistrate Barreth troubles rising from a lack of noble tending, the magistrate weighed the issues and options resulting in the surprise assignment to Serranna the title of Deputy Magistrate in 604. Since that time, she has worked for the safety of the town in the present and the continuation of the town's well-being in the form of the orphanage and other projects. In founding the Order of the Silver Quill in 606, Serranna hopes that there will be a lasting legacy of those attending to the safety and well-being of her new-found home. The Silver Quill was confirmed as knightly with Serranna as the First Knight in August of 607.

Lord Sainrith MacTriath: This human has traveled for many years across several kingdoms and duchies. After coming to Izendorn 604, he aided defense and explored the trade lines to finally settle in Starlen's Crossing. His sound understanding of trade and international customs was recognized for its potential value to the town.  He was named Lord and Baronial Attache` in August 607.

Magistrate Usagi Toronaga: This experienced rabbit scavenger began his travels from a distant land. First he found the Kingdom of Stonegate and the free city of Vargus. Finding friends there, he traveled with them throughout those lands as well as such places as Caladore. Through these travels, he learned more of the blade and some of the ways of these lands. Usagi Toronaga came to Starlen's Crossing in April of 606. He fought bravely against the invading orc force. At the September 606 market festival, he was named the Magistrate of Starlen's Crossing. His skill in battle and sense of personal honor are expected to serve him and the town well in this position.

Guildmistress Alessandra del Sol Romanov: Alessandra is known for her deadly accuracy with alchemical substances. While travelling in Ashton, Alessandra met the Romanov gypsy clan and realized that something had been missing from her life. After speaking with Natalia Romanov, Alessandra decided that in her heart, she was gypsy. Since her transformation in the early spring of 605 she has taken to wearing bright colored skirts and working to brew the perfect batch of intoxicants. While she does travel, particularly to the towns of Vargus and Ashton, she is most often found at home in the Crossing, playing with the children of the town, helping Anastasia with the tavern, running errands or gathering ingredients for Cecil (her teacher), and researching new and dangerous alchemical concoctions.  She has been instrumental in the founding and work of the Order of the Silver Quill as its Elder Sage.  With the founding of the Academy in the spring 607, her patience in teaching was put to further good use. She was named Guildmistress in August of 607.

Commander Zydale: Zydale is a human celestial formalist and tactician.  After a year of wandering the lands of Stonegate he eventually sought out the rest of the Jackals and came to the town of Starlen's Crossing.  There he finally found a home as he began more seriously serving under Commander Rowena during the Orc War of 606.  Gaining his Silver Chain after the clearing of lands where the Den is now built, he continues practicing the celestial magics while traveling and aiding the town.  In April of 607 he was promoted to the rank of Commander by the wishes of Rowena's fading spirit during a failed resurrection after a dark dwarf attack.  The rank was officially recognized by Deputy Magistrate, now Dame, Serranna and later confirmed by Rowena herself during her spirit farewell.  Since, he has continued to work at making the Den grow and prosper while looking for new recruits to join the Jackal ranks.
